The first week back has certainly been busy and there is a calm atmosphere around the house as many of the boys re-establish their routines, but also many are taking note of the comments they read in their school reports. As the pressure of public exams begins to loom for many there is a definite sense that now is the time to really get working. Rowing and Hockey have begun as the major sports this term and fitness is starting to increase! Boat Club Circuits attracted 50 people to the sports hall this week which just goes to show that a lot of our boys are eager to make a good start this term.
I would like to warmly welcome a new member of our Skipwith flock. We were joined by Seb Allan on Monday who is a year 11 boarder and I hope he will be very happy in Skipwith.
