The house council met today and the following minutes were recorded.

already being taken care of and new restraints will be fitted soon on all new
windows.

An oven was
requested for matron to provide pasties or hot snacks. Mr Settle will discuss this with matron and evaluate the need for it.
Year 11
would like to change rooms next term. Mr
Settle will action this at Easter.
Year 12 –
Sam Hallatt (Boarding) and Josh Hemsley (Day)
Boarders
would like a paper towel dispenser in their bathroom. Mr Settle will investigate this further with maintenance and try to
have one installed.
Year 12 have
requested a more up to date games console for their common area. Mr Settle will look at the cost of a
Playstation 3 but is hesitant as not convinced it will enhance social
interaction in the year 12 common area at all.
The year 12
bathroom is to be looked at to determine best use for next year. It may remain
a bathroom or it may be converted in to new rooms for day boys. Alternatively,
it could be used as extra common room space to accommodate the increase in year
12 numbers next year. This will be
reviewed before Easter.
