Year 9 – Joe
Szweda and Eliott Jordan
-
Hot
dogs every Saturday: matron currently provides these as often as she can but
sometimes it is not always easy to do it every week.
-
Different
lockers: the tall thin lockers are impractical. Mr Settle has been addressing
this with the domestic bursar and they will start to be phased out from next
year in favour of smaller wider lockers.
-
Better
computers: computers in house will not be replaced as wifi has been improved
and wireless laptops/tablets are now becoming the norm.
-
Wireless
printers: the main need for computers in house was to print off work in time
for lessons. Can we have access to a wireless printer? This is a good idea and
a part of the college ICT development plan. However, if these are not to be
rolled out in the immediate future, we could consider buying one with advice
from the ICT department.
-
More
bread at break time: matron will consult the kitchens.
-
Bread
is cold and wet: not really a problem if it is being toasted but matron will
check with kitchens to see if any bread is being frozen and then defrosted.
Year 10 –
Sam Wisely
-
Squash
at break: as said before this will be a treat and not the norm.
-
More
water fountains: this can be raised at school council but Mr settle reminded
year 10 that there is good access to water in house and that water bottles were
also a good idea.
Year 11 –
Louis Bossons-Sartain
-
Panini
press: this will not be purchased as the hot surfaces would cause a risk of
burns.
-
Oven
gloves: Mr Settle reminded year 11 that there was a tool for removing hot trays
from the oven if they would care to use it.
-
Water
cooler upstairs: year 11 are reminded that they share common facilities with
years 9 and 10 and have sufficient access to water, milk and snacks in the big
kitchen.
-
Butter
left out all day: matron will look in to this.
Year 12 –
Sam Hallatt
-
Blender:
some rowers want a blender in the kitchen upstairs. Mr Settle said absolutely
not as he is not sure of what will end up being blended.
-
More
brownies and less cake: matron to raise with kitchens but this may also be an
issue for the school food council to raise.
-
More
knives in kitchen: the stock of utensils in the upstairs kitchen has somehow
been depleted to mainly spoons. More knives for spreading will be put up there.
