How to cook a monster?

Former Skipwith housemaster, Mr Dix, kindly left a courgette plant growing in the garden of Tudor Cottage when he left. Not being a green fingered fellow I may have left it a little too long, but imagine my surprise when I found this monster hanging off it! The question is...how do you cook it??!
